Association helps boost Viet Nam-India friendship

Ha Noi (VNA) – The Viet Nam-India Friendship Association of Ha Noi held its Congress on July 29 to pass its action plan for the 2007-2012 term, focusing on introducing opportunities to study in India for Ha Noi’s students and investment opportunities for the two countries’ businesses.

The plan specifies that in conjunction with maintaining regular activities during festivals, the association will organise traditional art performances by troupes from both countries.

Chu Thuy Quynh, President of the Viet Nam Dancers’ Society, was elected as President of the Association.

Set up in January 2002, Ha Noi’s Viet Nam-India Friendship Association has so far developed four chapters in universities, junior colleges and businesses, contributing to fostering friendship and solidarity between the people of the capital cities of Ha Noi and New Delhi.-Enditem
