“Flying Hotel” To Visit Hanoi

The Vietnam Administration of Civil Aviation on July 31 announced that the largest passenger airliner in the world, Airbus 380, which is called ‘flying hotel’ will land at the Hanoi-based Noi Bai International Airport on September 2.The Vietnam Administration of Civil Aviation has approved all formalities related to the Vietnam visit of this airliner. This visit to Vietnam of the ‘flying hotel’ is part of an advertising campaign for Airbus A380 of Airbus, a rival of Boeing Dreamliner, which has recently been introduced in the US.Before going to Vietnam, this Airbus 380 will visit some other countries, including Thailand. In Vietnam, this airliner will open its door for visitors within four hours and it will fly to Hong Kong after that. After this global trip, this airliner will be transferred to the first client in October 2007.The Airbus A380 is a double-deck, four-engined airliner manufactured by EADS (Airbus S.A.S.). It first flew on 27 April 2005 from Toulouse, France. After lengthy delays, commercial flights are scheduled to begin in late 2007.
