Ha Noi's small IPs attract large investment

Ha Noi (VNA) - Ha Noi granted investment licences to 50 projects worth nearly 680 billion VND (42.5 million USD) in three small and medium-sized industrial complexes over the past eight months.

Three operating projects were also permitted to add 153.5 billion VND to their investment capital.

Enterprises operating in the city's small and medium sized industrial zones have generated 425.9 billion VND in turnover and contributed to the state budget 11.9 billion VND in the January-August period.

Forty more projects are awaiting licences to invest a combined 400 billion VND in Ninh Hiep, Hapro, Mai Dinh-Soc Son and Soc Son industrial complexes.

Fifteen other operating projects in these areas are planning to increase investment capital by 120 billion VND.
By 2010, Ha Noi will build three more industrial complexes in the city's suburban districts of Soc Son, Dong Anh and Gia Lam.-Enditem
