Rubber company to list on bourse

HCM City (VNA) – The Thong Nhat Rubber Company made its debut on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) on August 22, becoming the fourth rubber company and the 112th business to be listed on the bourse.Some 93,380 shares of the company coded TNC changed hands at a price of 40,000 VND per share certificate at their first ever trading session.
The Thong Nhat Rubber Joint Stock Company has a chartered capital of 192.5 billion VND, with the State holding a 51 percent stake in the company.
Specialising in plantation, processing and the exportation of latex, 75 percent of its products are sold on the domestic market with the remainder mainly exported to the Chinese and Singaporean markets.
The company targets an average annual growth rate of 10-12 percent by 2010 and sales of 140 billion VND (8.75 million USD) yearly, including 2 million USD in export turnover.-Enditem
