UNDP aids transparent business laws

Ha Noi (VNA) – The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has pledged to provide 830,000 USD in non-refundable aid to help Viet Nam legislate for farer and more transparent business laws.

The UNDP is ademant that the Investment Law and the Enterprise Law prove to be landmark bills on the road to a better business climate in Viet Nam.

However, UNDP Country Director to Viet Nam Setsuko Yamazaki said a fair and truly transparent business environment would largely hang on the implementation of the two laws.

The project is aimed at raising the capacity of the working group on conducting the laws at central and local levels and is expected to be completed in 2010.-Enditem
