Viet Nam to host energy development fair

Ha Noi (VNA) – Viet Nam’s first international energy development fair, Viet Nam Energy (VE Expo 2007), will take place at the National Convention Centre in Ha Noi from October 30-November 2.

According to Tran Viet Ngai, President of the Viet Nam Energy Association, VE Expo 2007 expected to draw about 100 Vietnamese and foreign exhibitors who will showcase energy products at 200 pavilions.

A forum on energy development in the country will be held from October 31-November 1 that will provide an opportunity for Vietnamese and foreign businesses to exchange experiences, introduce technologies and projects and seek partnership in the burgeoning energy sectors.

Besides major Vietnamese energy groups and corporation, many companies from Germany, France, China, the Republic of Korea and Russia have registered to participate in VE Expo 2007.

Lecturers will also present speeches on energy development, energy saving and the development of renewable energies in Viet Nam. Viet Nam's electricity, coal, gas-petroleum and new energies for the 2006-2015 period will be also presented at the symposium.-Enditem
