Malaysian business to build park in Ha Noi

Ha Noi (VNA)- Gamuda Berhad from Malaysia will build a park and a sewage treatment plant in Ha Noi in line with an agreement inked with the municipal People’s Committee on August 14.

The 146 ha Yen So Park is part of a project that will also set up hotels, a trading centre and office buildings across a total area of 327 ha in the districts of Hoang Mai and Thanh Tri. The wholly foreign-invested project has a price tag of about 711 million USD.

The park’s construction will be completed by October 2010, 10 years ahead of other branches of the project.

The Yen So Sewage Treatment Plant will be built at a cost of 253 million USD. Completion is scheduled for October 2010 after which the plant will have a daily treatment capacity of 195,000 cu. metres of sewage.-Enditem
