New brokerage becomes HOSE member
HCM City (VNA) – The Viet Nam Small- and Medium-sized Enterprise Securities Company (SMESC) was officially recognised as a member of the Ho Chi Minh City Securities Exchange (HOSE) on August 10.The company is the 50th member of the exchange and the first since the HCM City Securities Trading Centre was transformed into the HoSE.
SMESC, which was founded by Viet Nam Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises Association members, has involved in a variety of businesses, including brokerage, issuance guaranteeing, financial consultancy and securities depositary.
The company has a chartered capital of 51 billion VND and plans to raise it to 200 billion VND by the end of this year and to 300 billion VND by late 2008.-Enditem
