Lao officials begin political course in Ha Noi
Ha Noi (VNA) – A tertiary political course for 20 officials from the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) got underway in Ha Noi, on August 13.The ninth installment of the course is being organized by the Ho Chi Minh National Politics and Administration Academy under the Viet Nam-Laos cooperation agreement.
During the five-month course, students will study the basic principles of Marxism-Leninism and President Ho Chi Minh’s Thought and learn about the leadership of the Communist Party of Viet Nam and the LPRP.
Models on international economic integration and globalisation, science and technology and management and the development of a knowledge-based economy, will also be a focus of the curriculum.
Students will also embark on fact-finding tours to the country’s southern provinces.-Enditem
