PetroVietnam Insurance lists on Ha Noi bourse
Ha Noi (VNA) – PetroViet Nam Insurance Joint Stock Corporation (PVI) has become the first enterprises of the Viet Nam Oil and Gas Corporation and the 88th member to list on the Ha Noi Securities Trading Centre (HaSTC).On the first trading day on August 10, 61,500 PVI shares were sold at an average price of 92,000 VND per unit, thus ranking eighth in terms of trading volume and sixth in terms of trading value among listed companies.
By the end of July 2007, the corporation’s turnover reached 1.3 trillion VND (84.5 million USD), representing 73.5 percent of the yearly plan.
PVI is currently leading the insurance market in terms of growth and profits.-Enditem
