Sudanese chief of joint staff wraps up Viet Nam visit
HCM City (VNA) - Gen. Haj Ahmed El Gaili, Chief of Joint Staff of the Sudanese Armed Forces, left Ho Chi Minh City on Aug.24, concluding an official friendship visit to Viet Nam .During the visit, Gen. Haj Ahmed El Gaili and his delegation was received by Deputy Prime Minister Truong Vinh Trong, Defence Minister Phung Quang Thanh.
The Sudanese military delegation also hold talks with a delegation from the Viet Nam People’s Army (VPA), paid a courtesy visit to leaders of the commands of Military Zones 5, 7 and Navy Zone 3. The delegation visited a vocational school, a traditional medicine institute and two factories of the VPA.
The Sudanese officers, made a sightseeing tour of Ha Long Bay, Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City.-Enditem
