Da Nang (VNA) - A caravan tour from Viet Nam to Laos and Thailand opened in central Da Nang city on August 29 within the framework of the East-West Corridor Economic Week 2007 which runs from August 27-September 1.

The five-day tour is to offer participants a chance to visit several tourist and economic establishments in the three countries.

In Viet Nam, 120 participants coming from localities along the corridor will have chance to visit My Son sanctuary and Chu Lai open economic zone in Quang Nam province, Dung Quat oil refinery in Quang Ngai province, Tien Sa port and Cham museum in Da Nang city, mausoleums in imperial Hue city, Cua Dai, Cua Tung beaches, Vinh Moc tunnel and Lao Bao bordergate in Quang Tri province.

The tour will also take visitors to Laos' province of Savannakhet and Thailand's Mukdahan province.-Enditem
