Gov't leader meets new French ambassador
Ha Noi (VNA) - Viet Nam is eager to increase cooperation with France , especially in economy, trade and investment, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung said.He made the statement while receiving French Ambassador to Viet Nam Hever Bolot in Ha Noi on August 17.
"The relationship between Viet Nam and France in economy, culture, education and training, and science and technology has been growing steadily, but it remains far from the two countries' potential," the Vietnamese government leader told the French diplomat.
The PM expressed his hopes that the ambassador would work to further promote the two countries' cooperation in the mentioned areas.
The ambassador relayed to PM Dung information relating to the preparations for the PM's upcoming visit to France and said he hoped the visit would open a new development chapter in the two countries' all-round ties.-Enditem
