Indonesia's National Day marked in Ha Noi
Ha Noi (VNA) - A reception was held in Ha Noi on August 17 to mark Indonesia's 62nd National Day.Deputy Foreign Minister Le Cong Phung attended the reception which was hosted by Indonesia's charge d'affaires Sofiana M. Raharjo.
According to the Indonesian diplomat, the relations between Viet Nam and Indonesia have been bolstered through the first official visit by Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung to Indonesia in early August. The two countries reiterated their commitments on lifting bilateral ties to a new height during the event, she stressed.
Deputy Foreign Minister Le Cong Phung extended greetings to Indonesia's government and people on their Independence Day, highlighting the fine development of traditional friendship and multi-faceted cooperation between the two countries.
He also expressed belief that PM Dung's visit to Indonesia would help further develop the two countries' relationship for the benefit of the two people, for peace, cooperation and prosperous development in the region and the world at large.-Enditem
