Road map on commodity trade and its related activities
Investment form and roadmap on commodity trade and its directly related activities as committed in International Convention, in which Vietnam is a member, were promulgated in Decision No.10/2007/QD-BTM dated May 21, 2007 by Ministry of Commerce.According to this roadmap, activities like wholesale, retail and trade authorization will be invested in the form of joint venture between foreign and domestic investors, in which the contribution of foreign investor does not exceed 49% of charter capital. From January 1, 2008 the contribution rate is not limited. These said activities will receive investment in the form of 100% foreign owned organization from January 1, 2009.
The Decision also issue List of commodities and roadmap on rights of export, import and distribution.
The Decision was posted in Official Gazette on June 21, 2007 and would take effect from 15 days later, counting from the date of Gazette post.
