Vinashin to build laminated steel plant in Ninh Thuan
Ninh Thuan (VNA) - A new billion dollar investment contract was signed between the Ninh Thuan People's Committee and the Vinashin Group, bringing a laminated steel mill to the Doc Ham area in Ninh Phuoc district.In its first phase to 2010, the new steel mill will have an invested capital of 1.7 billion USD, a figure which will increase to 7.5 billion USD over the next eight years, according to People's Committee vice chairman Do Huu Nghi. The mill will have a capacity to produce 8.5 million tonnes of laminated steel per year.-Enditem
