Phu Bai becomes international airport
Thua Thien-Hue (VNA) – The People’s Committee of the central province of Thua Thien-Hue and the Central region’s Airport Authorities on August 31 held a ceremony to announce the upgrade of Phu Bai airport to an international gateway.After extensive overhauls of runways, landing strips, departure terminal and control system, the airport is now capable to accommodate A320, A321 planes and receive 600 passengers an hour or 1.2-2.5 million passengers a year.-Enditem
