Legislators arrive in Kuala Lumpur for AIPA meeting
Kuala Lumpur (VNA) - National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong and his entourage arrived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on August 19 to attend the 28th General Assembly of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA).The Vietnamese delegates were welcomed at the airport by Datuk Seri Diraja Syed Razlan, MP and head of the protocol department of the Malaysian Parliament.
The Vietnamese delegation’s participation in the six-day event beginning on August 19 is being made at the invitation of Tan Sri Dato Seri Diraja Ramli bin Ngah Talib, President of the AIPA and Speaker of the Malaysian House of Representatives.-Enditem
