Central city’s airport gets facelift

HCM City (VNA) – Work kicked off to upgrade Vinh airport in central Nghe An province on August 29 as part of efforts by the Northern Airport Administration to improve its services.

The upgrade is estimated to cost more than 50 billion VND (roughly 3.1 million USD).

Vinh airport is currently capable of accommodating large aircrafts like Airbus A320 and A321.

In 2004, close to 100 billion VND was pumped into the construction and upgrade of the airport’s facilities.-Enditem
