NA Chairman urges embassy to do more
Kuala Lumpur (VNA) – National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong has suggested that the Vietnamese Embassy in Malaysia continue its role as a facilitator to broaden the relationship between Viet Nam and Malaysia.The legislative leader made the recommendation while calling on the Vietnamese Embassy in Kuala Lumpur on August 22 during his Malaysia visit to attend the 28th General Assembly of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA).
Chairman Trong praised the embassy for its contribution to boosting friendly and cooperative ties between the two countries, as well as for its fulfilment of responsibility as Viet Nam’s representative agency in Malaysia, where more than 100,000 Vietnamese people are currently employed as guest workers.-Enditem
