ADB steps up aid for Laos public health
Vientiane (VNA) - The Asia Development Bank (ADB) will splurge 13 million USD for a Laos health and nutrition programme.An agreement underscoring the aid was signed by Laos's Deputy Minister of Finance Viengthong Siphandon and ADB Country Director of Laos Resident Mission in Vientiane last week.
The project is aimed at supporting long-term reform in the health sector and improving primary health care, especially for women, children and ethnic groups in eight northern provinces.-Enditem
